This week, Mayor-Elect Daniel Lurie announced his transition team, including former City Controller Ben Rosenfield, retired SFPD Commander Paul Yep, former Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White, and San Francisco Democratic Party chair Nancy Tung. Our invite may have gotten lost in the mail, but Brionies are standing by and ready to serve!
Speculation is heating up over Mayor Breed’s impending appointment to replace District 2 Supervisor Catherine Stefani, who was elected to the State Assembly and will vacate City Hall on December 2. Will Breed pick former staffer Conor Johnston, a “notorious political prankster” known as Breed’s “guard dog”? Or will she tap Eileen Mariano, granddaughter of the late Senator Dianne Feinstein? Polymarket isn’t taking bets, so we’ll have to sit tight and wait.
